What happens after you've had a blood test?

Once you've had your blood taken the results come back anytime within a few days, usually within a week. Your results are initially tested and screened for urgent abnormalities by the phlebotomy department.""

Your blood test results are then reviewed and filed by a trained clinician at the practice. In many cases, results that are borderline or marginally outside the normal range are filed as satisfactory, as they do not require further action. These results are often within acceptable limits for the individual patient, based on their medical history and overall health. ""
