Introducing Salford South East PCN
The number of people living in Salford and across the country is growing. As a result, we are living longer, and many of us are living with long-term health conditions like diabetes or heart disease. In January 2019, NHS England asked all GP practices across the UK to form a local Primary Care Network (PCN) with neighbouring surgeries. Salford South East Primary Care Network is one of the five PCNs in Salford and includes 10 member GP practices with a population of 84,000 patients. Salford South East PCN supports and develops the work of current primary care services. For example, our GP practices have greater flexibility and control to provide more proactive, personalised and integrated health and social care at the right time and place. Our ten-member practices include:- Cornerstone Medical Practice
- The Willows Medical Centre
- Pendleton Medical Centre
- Salford Medical Centre
- The Quays Practice
- Orient Road Medical Practice
- Sorrel Bank (Bolton Rd Surgery) Medical Practice
- Victoria Road Surgery
- Clarendon Medical Practice
- Angel Medical Practice
- Ordsall Health Surgery

Travel Risk Assessment
Our patients all have access to our comprehensive travel health services.
We use NaTHNaC, a network for up-to-date guidance and resources about travel destinations, set up by the UK Department of Health to help British travellers care for their health abroad. We encourage you to look at this prior to your appointment, you will find travel information and recommendations on the vaccinations you need, plus a host of information on your chosen destination for safe travelling, it can be accessed through google. It is essential that you plan ahead, we advise at least six weeks prior to travel where possible, this is to ensure that we can offer you an appropriate appointment and order any required vaccinations in time for your journey. Please note not all vaccines are available in surgery and you may be signposted to a travel clinic.

The appointments offered via enhanced access will be held at Victoria Road Surgery (9 Victoria Road, Salford, M6 8FZ) and may be with a different clinician than usual.
