Routine Appointments
If you want to book a regular appointment or non-urgent consult, call the practice on 01942 366986 or book online through the NHS app.
Urgent Appointments
If you need immediate attention but it’s not an emergency, call the practice on 01942 366986 . For life-threatening emergencies, always call 999 or go to A&E.
Cancelling Appointments
You can cancel your appointment by phone or SMS text. Our text-to-cancel services allows you to send a simple text message directly to your practice to cancel your appointment, allowing it to be given to another patient. Please note that text-to-cancel numbers are not answered and are used for text messaging only.

If you need to cancel your appointment please do this as soon as possible. You can cancel via the NHS app, by responding to the appointment reminder text or by calling the practice.

Fit/Sick Notes
If you need to request a sick note (also known as a fit note). And your illness lasts more than 7 days or if you have already completed a self-certification for the first seven days. You can request one through our online consultations.You can call the practice on 01942 366986

Home Visits
If you need a doctor to visit you at home, please call the surgery on 01942 366986 before 11 am whenever possible. This allows us to prioritise and accommodate your request effectively. Home visits are generally reserved for patients who are housebound or unable to attend the surgery due to serious health conditions. Before a visit is arranged, the doctor may call you to discuss your symptoms and assess your situation. Please note that a phone consultation does not always result in a home visit; in some cases, you may still be asked to come to the surgery if it is deemed more appropriate. If you have any questions or need further guidance, our reception staff are available to help and provide advice on the best steps to take for your care.What is Pharmacy First?
Pharmacy First is just one of many NHS schemes which allows patients to receive advice, treatment, and medications for certain minor health conditions directly from your local pharmacy, often without needing to see a GP or book an appointment! It aims to make healthcare more accessible, helping you to get quicker care for minor ailments and advice on a range of illnesses. Pharmacy First can offer prescription medicine for are:- impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
- infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)
- earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
- sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
- sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
- urinary tract infections (UTIs) (women aged 16 to 64 years)
- shingles (aged 18 years and over)
